What could I do to salvage this??? Michelle please help. The walls still need to be painted. The rest of the house is going to be painted in Solver Antique White with ceiling in Solver Antique White quarter strength. Could we get away by having a dark feature wall or even wall paper??? if so what colour? The taps are wrong. The builder is rectifying the mistake this week. We are having the pinlever gooseneck bella from sinkware house. Oh forgot to mention. The cabinets are in wenge matt finish and the benchtop is Laminex sandstone. Thanx guys in advance Re: Oh dear what have I done..Calling for help 2Oct 13, 2010 7:05 am I think they look nice. You have to remember that there will be other things in the roo Ie washing machine, drier etc. Plus your window treatment will soften the look as well. You have a nice long bench so you could put some nice baskets for organizing your washing or even I have detergent tin / peg basket / miscellaneous basket / soaking bucket on my bench all in cream tin. As well as some letters spelling out W A S H - all of these were from Aldi and Target. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Some things are worth waiting for. Re: Oh dear what have I done..Calling for help 3Oct 13, 2010 9:49 am I think the walls tiles look fine. They atleast match the cupboards. And as kyton says, once you fill up the room it changes the outlook. What stood out at first was the floor tiles being so different to the wall tiles. But overall I don't think it's too big a deal. So don't worry it looks great, and we all often second guess some of our selections at first. I have a purple bathroom, I thought it was going to be grey. Between the colour choice and application something went pear shaped. In ten years time it'll still be purple. Its good for a laugh the Minister for War reckons. Re: Oh dear what have I done..Calling for help 8Oct 19, 2010 9:18 am Totally agree with the others. The colours tie in together well and look just fine. I hope your laundry is not a place where you will be spending alot of time (hahaha), ie. folding, washing, ironing, etc. Re: Oh dear what have I done..Calling for help 14Nov 14, 2010 10:28 pm The taps have been replaced and it looks much better already i think.. http://i53.tinypic.com/opqnbq.jpg My laundry is located right next to our entrance from the garage...thats why i was worried...oh god no..the last thing i want to do is iron and fold :O..i dont mind washing Re: Oh dear what have I done..Calling for help 15Nov 16, 2010 3:15 pm Nice taps!
