I love the artwork you've purchased, it will look sensational over your bed. That seller has some really nice canvases. Have you bought from them before? My apologies, I forgot to bookmark this thread. Thanks for the quick response Erin! Have you received your artwork yet?? Have a feature wall? Pg 7: Bedroom feature wall complete 144Nov 14, 2010 10:16 am I'm not a fan of having every room in the house painted. I'd prefer to have a flow from one room to another of the same or different shades of the same colour. I know, boring!
*edit, I mean this for my own house. I could never get big enough kahunas to go bold. Erin's place is gorgeous & her colours go really well together In our house now every room has a feature wall and it is just dated. Feature walls seem to be going out?? & I've noticed wall paper and decals are in? I think in our new house we'll have 1 perhaps maybe 2 feature walls with wall paper or painted with the added decal! This is what we have now Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Sorry about the pic overload. Every room is different.. I'd prefer it all to be similar colour just a different shade. Re: Have a feature wall? Pg 7: Bedroom feature wall complet 145Nov 14, 2010 10:28 am LOOOOVE the feature wall in the bedroom Erin! My son wants a red similar to that for his room (Actually I think it is Dulux 'red box' he has picked out!) I have been hearing a lot that feature walls are not necessarily the 'in thing' at the moment but I think you just need to go with what you like! My kids have all picked a BOLD colour for their bedrooms and although they've made some nice selections I think they are too dark for the entire room so we will have feature walls instead. I'm now loving the idea of adding more feature walls (Eg our bedroom, a wall in my 'studio', etc) I have enjoyed looking through this thread as you've been making your choices, Erin! Whether it is 'trendy' or not- I like the idea of injecting a bit of colour into a room...In time everything seems to 'date' and I figure that if I don't like the colours down the track we can just paint over them. I think you should go with what YOU like not what the current trends dictate. Re: Have a feature wall?
