Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Sep 26, 2010 10:44 am Hi all We are putting in full length louvre windows in our dining area, with one side looking out over our garden and the other side looking out over the pool. Both sets face west (we live in Perth) and are designed to bring the afternoon sea breezes into the house to cool it down. They are 1800mm wide with not much space either side so I was thinking of having white plantation shutters over them as our house is being redesigned in a coastal style. Does anyone have any other suggestions or can show me what they did with their similar windows? I thought about soft sheer curtains but they would blow in the wind which would be annoying when eating at the dining table. If we did put in plantation shutters, they would need to not protrude out into the room too much when pulled completely open so any tips/thoughts/advice is most welcome Re: Window Coverings for full length louvre windows 2Nov 04, 2010 11:58 am I am also interested in hearing thoughts/advice on this!
