Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Sep 25, 2010 10:33 pm We're getting curtains soon, after surviving winter without any window furnishings (and yes, the single glazing let a lot of cold in!). So, we're looking for blinds/curtains that look modern and have very good thermal qualities (blocking cold seepage in winter mainly), and blockout (to stop the kids getting up at the crack of dawn). I was leaning towards Roman blinds, over the edge of the frame to stop air leakage and light. But I'm not sure how that will look. I've tried finding some pics where it looks good to have Romans over the frame, but they all a look a bit weird - anyone got good pics to share? We got ours from www.beautifulblinds.com.au, who were by far the cheapest. Just email them your window sizes for a quote. have you used any of the motorised curtain systems available from Ebay?
