Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Sep 23, 2010 12:31 pm I'm itching to start decorating my home since my backyard is just a swamp and I cant do any gardening til its levelled out SO - have bought some canvases and want to stretch fabric over them to hang on walls to add colour to rooms. Anyone recommend any fabric stores online or in Melbourne where there are beautiful fabrics (preferrably cheap)?? I have been to spotlight and nothing caght my fancy - though I did have two impatient children with me which hampered my search Cheers! Caz Caz & Co ALL MOVED IN!! I've also got a link to a good US site: http://www.hawthornethreads.com/fabric/new_arrivals Their postage seems quite reasonable too. I recently had some expensive curtains put in my lounge room and the curtain fabric was used for the pelmets also. The curtain store have had to take them back and re-do because the semi metallic fabric used warped and reflected the light at night making them look awful. Didn't have any problems with it pulling. It is the printed fabric that says "Hello" in lots of different languages. When I get around to it I'll take a few photos if that would help.
