Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Sep 12, 2010 10:55 am Hi There The situation is I am wanting to have my home painted, I have a painter lined up for this but unfortunately I am completely lost on the colors and what to do. The situation is abit complicated as I am currently interstate (where my new home is-the one to be painted) and I am without a photo of the home etc however I have only a matter of another week to decide on the colors as I am unsure of when I will be able to return to where my home is (I am not moving into the home until January) I have asked advice on colors from a few people (Painters included) however no one seems keen to offer a few ideas. I am located in the Outer East of Melbourne. I am wondering if anyone knows what I should do..who to call etc? I was thinking of possibly calling an interior designer in to have a look?????? Its all just getting too difficult to visualise what to do in regards to the colors. Another option you could enquire about would be to contact your local paint shop, I know some of the bigger brands (like Dulux) have a list of colour consultants etc. 2 10954 I am looking for someone who might have tackled a similar issue as me.
