I think any standout colour may look too much on it's own You said you saw it done somewhere else and liked it... have you got a pic of it? Re: Need serious help with External Colours 23Nov 26, 2010 9:06 pm What do you think would suit this house? I cannot make decisions at the best of times. I really dont know what to do. I give up Dont worry Im not really crying.......I just wish I had that kind of eye for this sort of stuff Re: Need serious help with External Colours 24Nov 26, 2010 9:26 pm Could you involve a designer just for this part of the process? I've currently got 2 on the go if you would like me to put you in touch with them. 1 was recommended to me by a H1 member for my kitchen, the other is the one the builder recommend... I know she does some of the high class display homes too because one of the builders came in to talk to her about one whilst I was there (and she showed photos to me of her work that I had seen in one of the magazines). I was quoted only a few hundred to do the kitchen, so working out the exterior for you shouldn't cost much at all I would have thought? Sorry, I didn't mean to upset you *hugs*, it is hard to tell off those pictures, because it's is just sooo 2d. Really need the texture of the materials and a larger image (for me anyway). ALthough like you I have no eye for this stuff so maybe it looks awesome IRL. Is that the actual colour of your roof? Looks odd without texture in it too. What material is it off? I've not heard of what you were talking about earlier. If you want me to get details for the designers let me know Re: Need serious help with External Colours 25Nov 26, 2010 9:36 pm Mrs G, you didnt upset me Im frustrated with this part of it cos I cannot imagine anything I really need honest feedback otherwise Im going to make a big bad decision. Its funny you mentioned the designer, cos at work I was looking for one..........I think I need to do it. Yes please, could you give me the details and then I can get a price and go from there. Thank you You've got all of this to look forward to aswell Oh, and no the roof doesnt look that colour in the pic......its a silvery kind of colour but V wouldnt have been able to do the silver so its the next best thing. OH, and imagine the garage and all the steel posts deep ocean blue And thanks for posting those piccies V. You do rock Re: Need serious help with External Colours 26Nov 26, 2010 9:42 pm What are your interior colours? Ideally everything should flow together, or so i've been told. So whatever colour scheme you are going for should flow, whether it's greys, browns etc etc. Will find both their details now Re: Need serious help with External Colours 27Nov 26, 2010 9:55 pm Errrrrrrm - greys and white for bathroom and ensuite but kitchen is its own kettle of fish - closer to browns I spose. Cant change it now and Im glad cos that was hard enough as it was I think the inside will be fine cos its so separated. thanks for getting me the info Re: Need serious help with External Colours 29Nov 30, 2010 12:11 pm I’m doing remote consults again, if that’s any help to you.
