Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Aug 31, 2010 6:10 pm Hi, I am currently looking at my colours for my kitchen. So far I have decided on: Ceilings - Wattyl Flurry Walls - Wattyl Gracieux Benchtop - Quantum Quartz Everest Cupboards - Panelart Designer white Floor tiles - Habitat grey Below is a picture of the floor tile, benchtop stone and the wattyl paint color chips. So am willing to change to one of these if someone thinks one of the other stones would be better. Below is a plan of the house showing the kitchen. I don't want the kitchen to look a stark white, so I am hoping to add a bit of color into the splashblack, but unsure as whether to use a grey, or something similar to the paint colour. Any suggestions? Just need to pick the right shade. if you want a more subtle look you could go the greeny blue glass colour. I really like your wall colour and think it would tie it all in and make your benchtop stand out from the whites and greys as the benchtop is a bit warmer. Re: Advice on kitchen splashback colours 3Sep 02, 2010 10:18 am Hi, Thanks for the suggestion. Does anyone know if it is possible to use the Dulux Texture paints for a splashback. Looking at the Dulux colour chart, I quite like Cool Saphire Pearl E24. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Do you think this will suit? Or will it be too much colour and better to go for something lighter? You are definitely right. If I end up going for that splashback color I would need to change the quantum quartz benchtop from everest to apline white.
