Wall Paint Colour to go with timber skirting & architrave

Suggestions Please

Trying to pick paint for walls, I like warm colours but I am concerned about how yellow the floor is (definatley lighter and more yellow in real life) and what effect that will have on paint finish.

I would prefer painted trims but for the moment will have to leave the timber there.

Hi Debooy,

Is there certain colours that you like?? Beige, grey, blue etc etc??
Beiges & Creams
No keen on anything that has a cool look or feel.
Search the forum for Dulux Hog Bristile... see what you think of that

Dulux Russian Toffee

Dulux Sandy Day 1/2 Strength
Like the Russina Toffee, thanks FlagstaffIV.
This old place that we have bought also has plain veneered doors uarrhh!!!!
Should I replace doors and paint or replace with timber doors and stain?
This is the look I have in our current house, I know I cannott achieve the same but this is the sort of thing I like.

Erm... my decorating caper doesn't go that far sorry...

You might need Michelle for that
When you get around to painting the skirtings and arcks, then I would also do the doors.
I would look at white for the trims with the Russian Toffee.
If you like an off white with a slight pink tinge (similar to your picture) try Porters 'Dome'. It is a white with the very slightest hint of pink

Joe Apologies for the delay in getting back to you. If you haven't sorted this already you need to caulk this gap. Not sure where you are but if you are in Sydney I can…
