Well I met with our cabinet maket today and now am a bit stumped. The squareform laminex for the benchtop is not made in a long enough length to do our island bench unless we want a join. NO thankyou. So we are now having to use a brand called Duropal. This I have never heard of but assured by the cabinet maker it will look the same as squareform. Anyway we have gone with 2pac Parchment doors but don't know what benchtop will look alright. Our floor tiles are Memento Sands polished porcealin and are slightly ivory?? Sort of anyway. My last kitchen I did polar white gloss with white valencia benchtop. It was really white, which I didn't mind. There is a colour White Myriade (duropal) that looks similar to Ash Dust (laminex) which I like and the only othe duropal colour i like is Jurassic Marble(duropal) Similar to Persian Stone(Laminex) Not sure if the benchtop is going to look to busy. We want a gloss benchtop. What have you put with Parchment cupboards??? Any help ideas anything would be greatly appreciated Thankyou Re: Help KITCHEN COLOURS???? 2Aug 03, 2010 11:17 pm The White Myriade doesn't appear to come in a gloss version, unless I'm looking at the wrong place. The Jura Marble is nice, though a little strong in colour. The Marquina and Quartz Stone look nice too. I guess maybe it's worth getting some samples and looking at them with your cupboard colour and tile. Judie Re: Help KITCHEN COLOURS????May have decided! 3Aug 05, 2010 4:42 pm ok so we have sort of decide to go with Sand Grey in gloss. Looks similar to Stipple Seal, did think about decreasing the size of the island bench but I think I need the space. Hopefully all will look ok. We are going with Stipple Seal throughout all wet areas but not in gloss. Re: Help KITCHEN COLOURS?Anyone....Splashback idea 06/08 PIC 4Aug 06, 2010 10:06 pm ok so went and looked at tiles today and this is what our selections are. Light tile is kitchen floor, partchment for cupboards, sand grey(but in gloss)for benchtops and the darker polished porcelain tile for splashback. Does this all look ok to everyone?????????
