Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Jun 11, 2010 6:52 pm Hi Guys Were doing pre start next week I was thinking a champagne/beige type colour render with a similar shade for the garage and dark colour (Grey/Black) Roof tiles and also a light coloured driveway.. I'm not sure if this will look too light?.. We will have black window frames so it will break it down a bit but Im still not sure! Does anyone have this kind of colour scheme? If so, please post some photos! Or any other ideas would be great too. Or does anyone know any good websites where you can apply colour schemes? The ones I have found seem to be really slow or don't have much variety (colours) to choose from Thanks Land Settled: 29 March 2010 Pre contract & Deposit paid - 17 May 2010 Pre Start & Contracts Signed - 16 June 2010 Council Approval Received - 30 June 2010 Slab Down 30 July 2010 Plate High - Late August Lock Up - TBA Re: Front Render Colours.. Help needed 2Jun 11, 2010 8:36 pm It sounds quite similar to what we originally planned. But we can't have black because it's not available for marine environment from our builders supplier. Although our render is darker than what you are considering. It sounds like you want something like paperbark with black window and black roof or gunmetal grey roof Have you had a play on studio M. It's a good way to play around with something similar to what you are considering. Re: Front Render Colours.. Help needed 3Jun 13, 2010 11:18 am I have a Monier tile sambucca (black) roof and my render is Dulux Gnu Tan which is a shade darker than the paper bark. Be careful not to go too light with your render as the sun will wash it out and make it look lighter. We are very happy with the colour. I found a pic of the Gnu Tan colour http://professional-plastering-perth.co ... /lf152.jpg and also http://professional-plastering-perth.co ... /lf151.jpg Building in Bella Vista Waters Sydney. We are having Boral Ebony roof with Colorbond Monument (black) gutters and Paperbark fascia and Paperbark render and garage. I've been driving around the neighbourhood with my big colour samples and even rang someones doorbell to ask if I could put my sample against her house!! She was very interested. The Paperbark is a Solver colour and what our builder offers but the Gnu Tan is pretty nice and probably I would prefer it. Pink 2010 I think your choices will look good. (as thats our choice ) but we may have dark paving with light edges for driveway (dirt from cars) and reverse for back and sides. Started at last!! We chickened out of having a dark garage.. its so hard when you're choosing from such a small sample! Anyways pre start went well. We decided to go with a light render, surfmist garage, aniseed roof and grey brickpaving (I've forgotten what all the colours are called now) We got our final contracts one week after pre-start and have been advised our plans are being looked at by the council this week so we should have approval by early next week! Looking forward to the building part! Help needed 7Nov 28, 2010 9:49 pm Hello! I didn't want to start a whole new thread for our problem but my wife & I are in a very similar boat. Specifically - we also like Colourbond's Paperbark colour however our builder only uses Solver Paints. Does anyone know of an equivalent (or very similar) colour in the Solver range? Any help or advice is greatly appreciated! We have pre-start in two days Re: Front Render Colours.. Help needed 8Nov 29, 2010 7:23 pm We're having charcoal grey roof tile, with woodland grey gutters, window frames and feature rendered pillars. main render will be colourbond bushland colour. Front door & garage will be surfmist white. My builder only uses solver and you can still have colorbond colours. All paint companies can do colorbond colours Re: Front Render Colours..
