I am based in Melbourne. Many Thanks in advanced. We used Into Blinds for all our blinds. We got shutters for our 3 front windows 1.8 x .6 and they were around $900. Re: Ask your “Curtain Questions Here” 263Mar 29, 2013 1:07 pm Is this thread still current? We have a 5010cm wide stacker door I would like to cover with some sheer curtains but I haven't been able to find a curtain rod long enough. I really don't want to have two curtain rods as that will create a gap in the middle? Suggestions? TIA Re: Ask your “Curtain Questions Here” 265Apr 04, 2013 11:29 am Needing some advise on my curtain colours! I am wanting a sheer fabric that is soft and sits nicely at the floor without fluffing out. I would like to have it on the s fold track however I really want it hung from the roof in some rooms and don't want to see the curtain track so will have to see what is possible I have found a fabric made by wilson ormondo which I have selected 2 colours, in full sun it does get a bit shiny which I don't love and it does seem a bit stiff but hoping with a 2.5m drop they will hang softly. I am planning to put roller block out blinds in the living room behind the sheers and a block out curtain also behind the sheer in the bedrooms/theatre room to make the rooms dark. I did have my heart set on white sheers to match the roof, arch's, kitchen but I think this might be a bit much with my sofa fabric that is going to arrive very soon!!!! Should I go for a lighter colour fabric in the living room to brighten it all up and the darker one in the bedroom with the dark carpet to look cosy???? Another option would be warwick's aesop as it flows beautifully, the same as Josh & Jenna curtains from the block, I just haven't actually seen it as yet. There are other methods to hide the track but require further work and thus budget. Alternatively there are better looking or more discret tracks available. Ardo That is so funny!
