Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge Re: Are verticals daggy and outdated? 61May 29, 2010 5:14 pm I hate verticals with a passion....and its nice to know I'm not alone! LOL! Today- however I saw the Luminette Privacy sheers and I was surprised at how nice they look. Initially I disregarded them as a possibility because I thought they were like verticals with a sheer fabric on top and in some ways that is possibly a reasonable description- however the sheer fabric isn't just 'on top'- the verticals sections are neatly attached (kind of 'built into' for lack of a better expression) to the sheer fabric I like the fact that you have the look of lovely elegant sheers with the ability to control the light- and when closed they block out heaps of light! You can draw them back like drapes so are suitable in front of sliding doors etc. I was very pleasantly surprised. I have asked for some pricing. Like most things I like they are probably ridiculously expensive. I would be curious to know whether anyone has them in their home and whay they think of them Re: Are verticals daggy and outdated? 62May 29, 2010 6:04 pm I think they are very elegant…..I had photos I took from Luxalex display, but I can’t find them, I must have deleted the photos. I haven’t seen them up at anyone’s home, but I have heard they are easy to clean. They certainly do look lovely and fresh Dear J.K. Rowling, Your books are entirely unrealistic. I mean, a ginger kid with two friends? Handover February 2011 Happy with our home Re: Are verticals daggy and outdated? 67May 30, 2010 6:47 pm Michelle, those privacy sheers look very attractive, good for strong sunlight situations. 2pais, for my laundry door I put on window wallpaper. It comes in all sort of patterns, you can walk naked to the washing tub, in our case next to the bathroom and no one sees that quick flit with the dirty laundry. Sincerely, Anonymous Re: Are verticals daggy and outdated? 77Jun 09, 2010 7:56 pm One thing I've found while researching blinds and window furnishings online, every website seems to link to a site called cheapa blinds. No matter what site you seem to be on, when you click to receive a quote, always handy to know what prices they are and what to budget, but they all end up on the one site Dear J.K.
