Your colours are contemperary but not in your face. Its hard not to get carried away. I've got about a week more to decide and -yes- it is a torment and all-consuming but fun too. I want to stick pretty much to the standard and hope I'm disciplined enough. What about your bathroom(s)? Started at last!! I did want to go contemporary, but didn't want any dark colours as all our furniture is dark chocolate!!! I plan on tying it in with the rest of the house by adding a feature fruit bowl, my red kettle LOL, and some small pendant chandeliers. Bathroom colours - we've gone with: Osprey benchtops Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ and Urban Bamboo laminate cupboards Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ the wall tiles will be white, and the floor tiles.... a biege/brown. Won't it be great to start a new house with no clutter.I'm so looking forward to a white house too as mine has been so brown- inside brick feature walls and wood lined too - in one room!!! Small chanderliers sound cute. So no brown but I'm sure your furniture is great as choc. is contemp' and practical. I want wooden laminate floors for warmth and hope to have money left over to buy new stuff-White furniture. We're building 2 on our block- one to pay for the other as our home is well past its used by date ,maybe due to never doing any repairs? Not sure how to put a colour sample on- just take a photo? Started at last!! I lay awake last night wondering if i'd chosen the right colours, especially after a friend of mine said she wouldn't have chosen the silver cupboards and would've kept it all white.... but I just wanted to add a little warmth, something to pick up from the silver splashback..... I guess we will just have to wait a few months and see if it does work!!! Even though all my furniture is dark chocolate, I plan on gaving a grey/silver shag pile rug, a white and silver vintage feature wall in the living room (to pick up from the kitchen) and pillows will be blingy and contain some silver... I will definitely have some chocolate brown in the kitchen by way of accessories, and our laundry which opens up from the kitchen will have the urban bamboo (wooden chocolate) doors with a silver benchtop and white splashback tiles.... so i'm incorporating the dark timber in there. It's so hard deciding when you can't see it and it's all in your imagination!!! Hey. Head to a metal and decide on which profile you will use first. Profiles with larger corrugations can greatly change the appearance of the color in different… 0 3384 I'd get the gutters to match your roof and pipes to match the paint - otherwise they become a feature. Nice pick with the paint colours! 1 34269 |
