Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 May 05, 2010 8:18 pm Hi Michelle I am new to this forum and we are about to extend and put in a new kitchen in our place. We are going to put down hardwood floors (probably in spotted gum). As for the kitchen:- Splash Back – Glass (so far I like Dulux – Oasis Spring P34E3 is the closest colour I can find to what I want). Any suggestions welcome. After something bright. Bench Top – Either QQ or CS As for the bench tops colours so far are:- 1. QQ – Luna White (my favourite) 2. QQ – New Diamond White. 3. CS – Osprey. Cupboard Doors – White gloss poly Cabinets – White gloss poly Draws – White gloss poly Kickboard - Stainless Hardware / Taps – Stainless Handles - Stainless Lighting – Down lights All appliances are stainless steel. Would love some feedback from everyone either negative or positive. Extending & Renovating Re: My kitchen 2May 05, 2010 8:49 pm Hi TW Welcome to the forum! A bit more practice for me I just hope the splashback doesn't look "tacky". I definately want something bright with that ocean feel about it. I probably won't make any final decisions on splashbacks until the cupboards and bench is in but it will definately be along that line. Any more suggestions welcome. :):) Extending & Renovating Re: My kitchen 7May 05, 2010 9:30 pm tannywanny1 What colour splashback are you going for Bel? and cupboards? Ie….furniture, artwork…… Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Re: My kitchen 17May 06, 2010 3:53 pm Hi Michelle Thanks for responding to me. There is absolutely nothing else blue in the house. Once the extension and kitchen is done I plan on buying new furniture (probably white) and redecorating throughout. I also want to repaint but haven't thought as far as colours yet but I am thinking something whiteish anyway. My husband wants to do the floors in spotted gum hardwood. Not sure if this is all going to go together. Extending & Renovating Re: My kitchen 18May 06, 2010 3:59 pm tannywanny1…..timber (floor) and whites go beautifully together! So you have no problem there! Give me a few minutes to look over the blues already posted. Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com No. It's not original. Circa early to mid 90s would be my guess and maybe even as late as early 2000s 1 6631 2 4672 that will depend on the kitchen bench depth. you'll have to specify it so it allows for both the tap and the sink 1 7392 |
