Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 May 01, 2010 10:42 am We have to select our paint colours in one weeks time. We have chosen white for the house (for loads of reasons) but have been advised not to paint the theatre room this colour because of the reflection of the light off the white walls. Dimensions - approx 6m in length by 3.5m width. There will be two large windows in the room to provide light during the day. So, we have a Wattyl paint chart but are really unsure what colours would be best suited to the room. Any ideas??? Your help is appreciated Re: What colour paint for theatre room? 2May 01, 2010 6:03 pm Have a look through this thread see if you like anything in here, let me know. viewtopic.php?f=6&t=30743 Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Re: What colour paint for theatre room? 3May 01, 2010 11:30 pm Thanks Michelle. We really didn't want to go that dark, as it would look funny during the day. I like the idea of painting the ceiling the same colour, as someone did in the thread. I guess I'll just have to trawl through some other building threads for ideas. It's hard to know whether some colours are better than others in terms of reflecting light. I know we want to stick to a brown or red spectrum of colours. Greens/blues/yellows wouldn't suit the colour scheme in the rest of the house. Thankyou so much 😀 I've decided on White on white for doors and trims, White on white 50% on ceiling and Mt buller for walls. Fingers crossed it will look OK 😀 2 7157 Hey, I am wanting to add a second toilet to my house, bit we have limited room.
