I am worried, since they installed all of it before any internal painting. Will they just paint over it?!? And is it actually normal to paint afterwards?? We haven't signed for anything else to be painted, so why would they go into all the trouble to do it for us for free ! Our builder has removed the doors for painting, also he does not put on any of the door handles until the painting is finished, he said without a doubt is they are put on before painting they will end up with paint on it. That way if any adjustments are needed to hinges, handles or those bits in the door frame that the latch fits into (no idea what it's called ), it gets done, filled and sanded before painting. All of our hinges and handles are pristine. We're re-staining our French doors at the moment and my husband took all the handles off first. If only he'd removed towels, shampoo bottles and decorative bits from the ensuite and put a drop sheet over the vanity before he started sanding while I was out.... Yes, I had already tried searching those. In the end I am fabricating my own. 4 4175 Black on light wood does look good.
