Hi Michelle,
I am a new H1 member and would like to call upon your expert advice. My husband and I recently made our external colour selections and I am a bit nervous about them! I don't have an 'eye' for this sort of thing and would like to know what you think about our selections:
Roof - Colorbond woodland grey
Gutters - woodland grey
Fascia - woodland grey
Downpipes - woodland grey
Windows - woodland grey
Doors - yet to decide
Bricks- PHG mild steel
Render- Taubmans roman stone (to front post and garage only)
We would like a modern, clean look and are trying to avoid choosing colours that will date. We were advised by the consultant at PGH that a modern look can be achieved by using the one colour for the roof, gutters and fascia. Part of me thinks that wooden or coloured front and garage doors will be enough to break it up. However, part of me is concerned that our basic, simple facade is going to look very drab.
What do you think about our selections? Do they work? What would you recommend will work well with our selections in regards to the front and garage doors? (my husband refuses to have a blue shade,). What would colours would you use to create a modern look using the mild steel bricks?
I hope I am not so indecisive when it comes to the interior seletions
Thanking you in advance.
