Stonecutter….some like me, charge on an hourly rate. Others charge by the selection you need, internal or external. There are few of the later based in Sydney that I know of. Reading their websites they can charge say $250 for an external colour advice.
I can do an external in about an hour so I would only charge $88.00 for the hour.
It really depends on the colour consultant, I don’t know of any that charge by the 2mt of a home.
I think it’s within everyone’s good sense to get a pro in to do the job. Having said that I have read a couple of posts in here where people have been very happy with the colours that where chosen for them. So not EVERY project home colour consultant is clueless.
I have done quite a few colour jobs for project home buyers, as they would prefer to pay me that go with the advice from the builders. What I have notice is that you really only have at the most 3 colours to work with internally and the same externally.
WHY IS THIS?????? I would assume, any more than that and all hell could break loose with colours!
