Yours are too large to come onto the forum, I just tried to load them up. Hopefully this works, I've also used very small files sizes so see hopefully you can view them now http://img682.imageshack.us/i/neelevation1.jpg/ http://img682.imageshack.us/i/frontelevation1.jpg/ http://img682.imageshack.us/i/backelevation1.jpg/ http://img693.imageshack.us/i/swelevation.jpg/ Re: Building new house - exterior colour assistance needed! 23Apr 23, 2010 4:40 pm Cathpaws….you’ve put the wrong links up , all I’m getting is imageshakes website. WOW…..I like them! I’ll have a look at it all tomorrow for you. I have a big day with the relies coming for a BBQ lunch. PS….which part is the Matrix? Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Re: Building new house - exterior colour assistance needed! 28Apr 24, 2010 11:39 am Thanks Michelle, Whenever you have time is great, we don't need the colours urgently, still a way off needing to finalise cladding/colour decisions for the builder, we are building with a small independant builder so more freedom to make decisions along the way Just trying to work out the colours now as a base for all the other decisions. You are amazing with all the assistance you give in this forum . The matrix is on the garage (front and side) and, on the SW elevation, on the side wall where the two long glass brick windows are (section that joins the single front level with the double back level). Now that I've worked out the image uploading, I've also uploaded a photo of the house number we have made and one of the feature glass bricks (we made 5) to go in the glass brick windows. House colours need to match these House number Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Glass brick Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Building new house - exterior colour assistance needed! 29Apr 26, 2010 8:43 am I love your house number and glass bricks……clever people!! It will be too bright in the sun!! So I’ve picked another colour for you…..Oliver Reserve, what do you think? My only concern is will it be too bold for large areas of the outside of the house? Would we better use it on the outside features and go with a more neutral colour?? I'd like to do something different with the outside but not so much its the house everyone uses as the landmark (it is up on a hill) I'll get some sample pots and try all these colours out together outside, I'm sure when I put them together they will look great and I'll get my courage back to use colours rather than neutrals as usual Thanks Michelle. Re: Building new house - exterior colour assistance needed! 33Apr 27, 2010 8:05 am I agree on having to be careful about such a bright colour externally. Let me know how you go with your samples, we might be able to use the green in a smaller area. Still going with Dune for the colourbond wall areas. Olive reserve is quite bright so think we will use this as a highlight colour on the front door and render on the 'portico' area, we would definitely stand out on the hill if we used it on a large area So remaining decision is rendered sections (above the colourbond and front of house). We are thinking we will go with the Porters Donkey Grey (which is very similar to Dulux limed white). Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ What do you think? Or will it be too light? Any other suggestions? Re: Building new house - exterior colour assistance needed! 35May 09, 2010 9:03 am I think this will work fine! I also agree small touches of the green. But you have a house similar to Mrs B house in materials I did her door a green and it looks pretty special. I’m waiting to see something pretty special when you’re finished!
