I've accepted a quote andthe painting is going to be starting soon.
They have asked me to select some colours, they use Dulux paints.
I got some sample cards of interior colours to show the look I was wanting, but someone has told me that I need to select exterior colours as the pigments are darker - the colours will look a lot paler when out in the light/sun?
The colour combination I like is:
Something like Antique White USA on the weatherboards - I don't want anything yellower.
White on the trim, white is white I guess.
Another accent colour like Warm Neutral, I have tried a sample of this outside and it looks a lot paler than it does inside.
They have suggested I might get a Dulux Colour Consultant - is it worth doing this? If anyone has experience with one, could you please tell me how it works, how much notice did they need, do they only work business hours?
Any advice appreciated.
