Re: External Colours - Suggestions/Thoughts/criticism needed 3Mar 10, 2010 7:56 pm I think those colours look really smart together... only thing I wouldnt do is have a surfmist front door... i think you are better off with a dune front door or double strength of your render colour.... Re: External Colours - Suggestions/Thoughts/criticism needed 5Mar 11, 2010 9:26 am YEP….I’m happy with your selections as well. Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Re: External Colours - Suggestions/Thoughts/criticism needed 6Mar 11, 2010 10:30 am Glad to hear they are liked I still wasnt sure about the front door colour either, originally it was charcoal, but i changed it because it was too much of a contrast. This is Dune: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ This is mud puddle (Hebel and dulux are the same ) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Maybe 1/2 or Double strengh? I should just pop over to Bunnings and get a sample pot after its been painted - computer screens just dont do justice. I dont even know if mud puddle is the colour ill go with, I was looking for a grey/brown colour, one thats in between but still has a bit of body to it. Some greys seem to stark. I wonder if ill get shot by my CSO by making another change Garden - viewtopic.php?f=19&t=44214&p=670323#p670323 Decorating - viewtopic.php?f=6&t=47218&p=715743#p715743 Re: External Colours - Suggestions/Thoughts/criticism needed 7Mar 11, 2010 11:01 am I just called a paint store (because its soo hard to get to a shop to get solver when bunnings dont stock it anymore!) They said mud puddle is a touch lighter than CB Jasper. So if i did the front door 75% the same colour as muddle puddle would that look okay? Do i change my pavers from cappacinno back to charcoal? I love choice - but its soo hard to choose! If that colour is close to Jasper it will be chocolate like... I would have cappacinno pavers as well... but that justs just me Re: External Colours - Suggestions/Thoughts/criticism needed 10Mar 11, 2010 4:06 pm Im still dont know about the capp pavers...Are they too pink? Anyone good with photoshop - I found a house that is 90% the same elevation as mine (minus the decking and the letterbox...and the house needs to be flipped ) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ If anyone wants to add the colours im looking at and some alternatives (Vundaful - you seem like your good at that, i was looking at some other render posts you have helped with) It will be most appreciated I think Ive changed my mind about the red.............. Im now going back to the original idea of along the lines of a lundy grey and some feature colour, be it 200% stronger of Lundy grey or a slate grey or maybe a colour of some sort. Seriously, I’ve seen this before from people, they just can’t see it, or quite know what they are after. YOU…..need to nut that out first, I could throw a heap of colours at you, but it will only confuse you all the more. Take a deep breath, take a week away from any of your selections and go back to them with fresh thoughts.
