Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge Re: Sliding Wardrobe Doors... options 2Apr 17, 2010 7:26 pm We have vinyl doors framed with stainless for all our sliding doors (three linen cupboards and three wardrobes). They are easy to maintain with small children and the colour matched in with our walls / ceilings quite well. Stegbar has a few different choices - http://www.stegbar.com.au/products/wardrobes/doors/ Do you know who your builder uses for their construction? Ours used a firm here in Newcastle http://www.regencyscreens.com.au/produc ... s/options/ so we could choose from their options. Some things are worth waiting for. Re: Sliding Wardrobe Doors... options 3Apr 17, 2010 8:30 pm Thanks for the links Kyton I will have a look now I am not sure who our builder uses but they are pretty flexible, if I find something elsewhere they will use it. I might do some googling. Everything I seem to like isn't very practical! Re: Sliding Wardrobe Doors... options 4Apr 17, 2010 8:50 pm Stegbar has a showroom at Homebase at Jindalee. I had to change from the vinyl wrap to painted as I could not find a colour match, so it a good idea to start looking early. Cheers Lou http://take2-customdesigndownslope.blogspot.com 07-10-09 omg they have cut the block 14-05-10 we finally have the keys Re: Sliding Wardrobe Doors... options 6Apr 19, 2010 10:24 am we have the same as kyton. the onyl downside is that it is hard if not impossble to match the colours exactly to your wall, as, for us anyway, they only came in certain colours. we have antique white USA walls and there was wither a white or ivory colour to choose from for the wardrobe doors. i chose the ivory cause i thought the white might be whiter than my walls and thereforwe may make the walls look cream or dirty. have been more than happy with the ivory, and the stainless steel frames and tracks are great. another option would be painted 2-pac. you could match your walls exactly or go a feature colour like Mrs B did, check her build thread for pics, they look great! Re: Sliding Wardrobe Doors... options 7Apr 19, 2010 12:02 pm For the kids bedrooms we have gone mirrored robes with matt silver trims. I am happy with the result and the kids are going to love preening themselves in front of them.
