Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Mar 15, 2010 7:52 pm Hi Michelle me again. With the bedroom nearly finished I'm keen to do the family room/kitchen. When we extended the house we painted (about 9 years ago). I love the colours but need a change. I love your Nicks nook colours and was wondering if it would go here. The lounge may be the sticking point. Would the blue fit in? The funny thing is I decided to do a patchwork quilt last year (I get these ideas and have to do them NOW). I'm not real crafty. Anyway I saw this nice burnt orange and green material and loved it but it's been in a bag because it goes with nothing. I think it will go great with Nicks Nook. Did you do the ceiling in half strength or the same as the walls. Any advice welcome. This is a great forum. Thank you Michelle and everyone for the great ideas. I'm hopeless with what goes together. Re: Next project. 2Mar 15, 2010 8:08 pm See my blue chair covers, their not staying I’m replacing them with a neutral colour, but I just want to show you the blue with the Nicks nook. I don’t have a problem with your blue lounge and a Nicks Nook feature wall! Go for it!! Use the lighter colour you put in your bedroom as the main colour in the lounge/house.
