Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Mar 01, 2010 12:03 am We thought we had made up our mind on installing blackbutt (prior to build starting) in the house but now undecided and are thinking about Karndean but not sure what colour will go with our colour scheme (on the website the colours seem to really vary in some pictures) Our kitchen is: Benchtops - Laminex Tunisian Stone Diamond Gloss Cupboards - Laminex Moleskin Natural Contrast overheads/upstand - Laminex Mushroom Linea Here are some pictures of kitchen installed last week: Upstand (excuse our bub sleeping peacefully for about 5 minutes before deciding he did not want to sleep) Over stove Far wall (note the 4 cupboards overhead should have been in mushroom linea and we have contacted builder in relation to this) Island We want a glass splashback but not selected yet as we are organising after handover so any tips on colour would be great. Any tips would be greatfully received. thanks David and Suzanne Re: Michelle - help needed selecting colours for floor/splashbac 2Mar 01, 2010 5:25 am This is a tough one looking at photos on the net, especially from Karndeans website. The best way to do this is to go and get a heap of samples. Karndean are great, they have lots of samples of every colour. Get some and take them back to your kitchen see which one you like best. I don’t have my Laminex book here at the moment, I left it with a client for the weekend, I’m picking it up later today, so I can’t check your laminate colour, so I cant look at a splash back colour. I’ll try and remember later.
