I got quoted $159 a roll, and then found it online for 10.99 UK pounds! Thanks, CarolineJ! That's a fantastic deal. But did you hire someone to put it up on your walls? Re: wallpaper supply and labor quotation 4Feb 28, 2010 5:38 pm I didn't end up using wallpaper, as I couldn't find what I wanted- I used wall decals instead! viewtopic.php?f=31&t=22103&start=0 Re: wallpaper supply and labor quotation 5Feb 28, 2010 5:41 pm I've just done 2 feature walls in my house with Laura Ashley wallpaper, the paper cost about $50 per roll (on sale), one wall took 3 rolls, the other 2 rolls. I hired someone to hang it for me, for about $40 per hour. Re: wallpaper supply and labor quotation 9Mar 01, 2010 9:35 pm Hi, I used quite a bit of feature wallpaper in my home, you should check out this post I did on my blog about it, it includes what I paid to have it all done professionally... I'm sorry I don't remember the hourly rate, but I'd say more than $40. I worked about to about $400 per wall. These guys also put a special undercoat of primer b4 papering it, saying that if I ever want to remove the paper, with that primer, it will be very easy, won't damage the wall etc.. they said most papers' won't do that, and it isn't cheap... Don't know if that helps you! http://get-me-outa-here.blogspot.com/20 ... ve-on.html PM if you have any questions! cheers! A thankful person is a happy person. Re: wallpaper supply and labor quotation 14Aug 17, 2010 2:20 pm I ended up ordering from here http://www.wallpapersandborders.co.uk Took delivery of them yesterday - less than 1 week delivery. Very happy! Even incl. delivery, it was over 50% cheaper than in our local shop. Re: wallpaper supply and labor quotation 15Aug 17, 2010 2:58 pm Just some advice about buying wallpaper from online rather than from a shop, if you buy from a shop and there is a fault with the paper (it happens more than you think), you can exchange or return it, if you order online and it is faulty, there is not much you can do about it. Buying from a shop is often more expensive, but you get piece of mind. Do a google search for wallpaper, there are often some great deals right here in Australia, plus if you want to find a wallpaper hanger, call a few of the shops that sell wallpaper, they will most likely have a few guys they can recommend to do the job Current status: Busy making the house our home Built PD Francis 29 on our 576m2 block at Reflections in Tarneit Reflections Estate Thread Our Build Thread That's a fantastic result!
