Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Feb 28, 2010 9:03 am Hi Michelle, I have a lovely old timber sideboard with French lines which I picked up on ebay. It is is a sad state and needs refinishing. My family room walls are hog bristle and the wall recess where the sideboard will be ( with a TV on it) is Dulux sea elephant which is a dark brown. I am debating between Dulux Russian Toffee (a darker shade of the Hog Bristle) and Dulux Bamboo Shoot ( a soft green) for the sideboards new colour. I plan to paint the sideboard in a matte ceiling paint, 'shabby' it a little and then coat in bees wax. Any advice or suggestions on my choice of colour would be welcome please. My lounge is a little 2 seater wing back and matching chair in mixture of greens with a touch of rust/terracotta in a traditional tapestry. Kitchen dining suite is similar colours. My kitchen which is adjacent in the same big room is Hog Bristle with latte and cashmere caesarstone bench tops. Floors are timber - Brushbox. Building in Bella Vista Waters Sydney. It sounds lovely, post a photo when you have done it and put it place, I’d love to see the finished results. Fingers crossed it will look OK 😀 2 7170 Thank you @. Tried to play with the facade models but the exact colour is not matching up. 2 3273 Versaloc is a mortarless besser block system that still needs a properly engineered footing.
