Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Feb 22, 2010 3:30 pm Hi All Just wondering what you think of this. We are going for the clean lines minimal modern look. We have gone past having little ones so we get to have a big person house again. Yeah. Our house is open plan. We are looking at having white polytech/polyrey cupboards/drawers in our kitchen. Black granite benchtops. We already have a black leather lounge and i have found a nice table and chairs which is black and white. Will have black/white rugs and have some pieces of art (ornaments) we bought which are also black. White slim line venetians on windows. Our flooring will be real timber in spotted gum i think. Having said all that what colour in the kitchen do we have splash back. Now i would love to go tangerine orange and have matching cushions on lounge but that would really set hubby off. And also what colour do we paint the walls. We dont have alot of walls in this section of the house as mainly glass but couldnt go white. My son is sort of grown up 18 but has this thing he cant keep his darn hands off the walls. Any advise would be appreciated. Dulux Nicks Nook is also a great green which you could use for the splash back and a feature wall. You could add in tangerine accents.
