Hi
My husband and I are building a new house and have been suggested the following colour sheme. I was hoping for second opions/improvement suggestions. Thanks.

EXTERNAL:
Roof & gutters - colorbond ironstone
Fascia - colorbond paperbark match
Rendered walls - resene quarter blanc
Feature columns - colorbond paperbark match
Downpipes & water tank - colorbond surfmist
Garage door, entry door & gable - timber/timber look

INTERNAL:
Walls & skirtings etc - resene half sea fog
Ceiling - ceiling white
Floor tiles - dark grey (mirror like in appearance)
Cabinets - polytech white gloss laminate
Carpet - palace grey (carpetcall)
Wet areas wall tiles - white
I’ll try and get in later to look for you, I have a busy day.
Thanks...colour combinations??? Any examples?

I can only say that you have a great choice on the color but you must do some color combination so that the result looks better.

I wouldn't worry about this advice. I smell spam.
Well done Macy, me thinks you're right

This is going to take a bit longer to look at, I don’t have a Resene fan deck, so I have to go through all the colour books I have of theirs.

So I’ll have to get back to this post…sorry.
All your selections are looking good to me.

How about a feature colour for the Feature columns?
Well we were told to go with Colorbond Paperbark match for the feature coloumns outside. Any other suggestions? So you think the house will look good with these colours? I have tried to find a photo of a house with a similar colour scheme but can't seem to find one so I can't quite picture what the overall look will be. We have tried putting the colour swatches together but they don't really help that much.

We are also having a Resene Farrenheit (red) feature wall in the dining room and a Resene Double Mondo (charcoal) feature wall in the main bedroom.

Also, we were thinking of using the floor tiles as our kitchen splashback.
You got some interesting colour choices. What does the home design look like?
Interesting good or interesting bad?

Unsure interesting.....which is why I asked to see your design.
No offence, but I don't feel comfortable putting our design on the net. It is a modern open plan design in a new estate. Lowset rendered house, double garage, 4 bedrooms and open plan kitchen, lounge, dining.

No offence, but why would you not feel comfortable putting a picture of your plan on the net? You can scrub out your name from the top of the page...
I’ve got all new Resene colours coming …..in the post, hopefully they will be here Monday.
Thanks Michelle, looking forward to hearing what you think.
