Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Feb 16, 2010 10:31 pm Hi Guys, We are building in Point cook and have chosen wallpaper for 3 walls in our house. The total rolls are 9 but we are unable to find reasonable wallpaper installers. The ones that I have spoken to are charging $130 per roll. Could someone please assist in recommending some installers. Any help or assistance is greatly appreciated. Many thanks Ami Re: Wallpaper installation 2Feb 16, 2010 11:11 pm I have hung many a roll... I reckon 1 roll for you to be OK, 2 rolls and you'll be expert. By memory, it was about 1K all up for 3-4 rooms and she lives in a suburb close to you. Re: Wallpaper installation 8Apr 26, 2011 6:27 pm You can save a lot of money doing your own wallpapering. Start with the least prominant wall for the starter, to get the practise on. As Ed said by number 2 you will wonder what you worried about. Start with a clean smooth wall. You may need to size it to help the paper stick, just follow on as advised by the wallpaper shop people Re: Wallpaper installation 9Apr 29, 2011 11:01 am perthhomelover Grey Army, http://www.greyarmy.com.au Good idea. Hi Marko The best thing to do is to have a look at your contract and see how the variation clause is worded.
