Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Jan 04, 2010 8:13 pm We are about to embark on painting our house exterior. It has been cladding undercoat for so long, I think I'll be in shock when we start, lol. Anyhoo, pretty much settled on the 'look' we want, but there are sooo many different shades of 'white' would appreciate some comments. Our home is a country style house, (on acreage) verandahs all round, tallowood decking, windows are woodland grey. Roof & facias are zincalum, & will remain that silvery-grey tone (maintenace free!). The CSR cladding I want to paint 'white', but nothing too 'creamy/yellow'. Would like to paint the eaves & verandah posts a different colour/shade but not sure what. Thanks for the input. They will blend with your windows and stand out well against the off white walls. Do your eaves the same wall colour, you won't find anything lighter, so no point buying another can of paint when the one colour will do it all. Judie - love that Oxide colour, I will find somewhere to use it, if not on the posts. I think the Lexicon will tone in nicely with the roof & facias, will do a sample area initially but very happy with that suggestion, guys. HH Life's too short too drink bad wine A question.
