Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Dec 31, 2009 7:51 am Hi I am pondering light roof tiles and rendered front , side and front of garage and weathertex to the rest of the house. I was told Monier Wild Rice is my option for light tiles even though I liked driftwood or parchment( bristile) as they are more of a clean colour. My problem is render and weathertex colours to compliment the Wild rice. I have a parapet over front door entry 600mm high and 4 metres long totalling 12sq ms surface area.I was thinking stacker tiles there in brown toitoise shell staker combo or slate grey combo. Gutter surfmist / windows frames are white Then carry the stacker colour thru to fascia and eaves. Dark eaves I am happy and stops reflection. Mmmm is this boring? if its because if roof and render is light I wanted something with texture and depth- make sense?or boring to the eye??? House is started so any time in Jan they will be asking me definately A oh! Re: Help !Wild Rice roof tiles and render colours 2Jan 01, 2010 8:18 am Can you put up photos of the roof tiles you like, or a link to the tiles so I can see them? Thanks….. I have chosen to go with the Wild Rice tiles too and have chosen 2 shades of brown for my render. I am worried about having chosen those tiles because I have never seen light coloured tiles on a house everyone seems to get black.
