Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Dec 14, 2009 12:38 pm Help I really need some feedback on these, I am a photographer and sort of having an idea ( and that is unusual for me ) and wondering if people may be interested in pure abstract sky scape colours like this as art. I am totally lacking in decoration ability and have pretty limited artistic skills so I really need some feedback on this one from people who have said skills. I was wondering if you thought it may be worthwhile enlarging a variety of shots like this fairly large on a nice art paper surface and seeing if any galleries were interested. Please honest answers is this just boring colours or do you think I could con people to part with money for these ? Re: Advice on photo art ( contains largish photos of sunsets ) 2Dec 14, 2009 12:49 pm I really like them. I was thinking of doing the same sort of thing but I was going to try and get them printed on canvas so people might be fooled into thinking it was a painting. The paper would be really nice too. I wish mine were as good as yours. As for the quality of the shots having a $3,000+ camera with a $2,000+ lens on it helps a lot Re: Advice on photo art ( contains largish photos of sunsets ) 4Dec 14, 2009 2:13 pm The first, third, fith and sixth are really interesting. The way the clouds at the bottom could even be interrupted as ripples on water and the seamless transition of colours really draws the viewer in. If you have the passion, you will make it work for you. They are interesting, great colour.
