Lot of nice wine? C'mon, spill the beans....... Re: Flat out! 4Dec 07, 2009 7:34 pm Thanks for remembering M. We all had a great weekend, no not all that romantic with 6 of us there, but nice anyway. Fleetwood Mac was just as good now as they were all those years ago! We had the best seats really close to the stage, I even got up and popped and flopped with the young kids behind me!!! NOW, that was interesting to see young kids in their early 20’s rocking on to Fleetwood Mac. There has been a bit of a revival of sorts of Fleetwod Mac. A bit of rediscovery I guess. I watch a lot of music docos and I've seen people such as members of Silverchair, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters and even peope such as Beyonce talk about the influence Fleetwood Mac had on them. Perhaps this has led to a few 20 somethings having a fresh listen? It's always a bit of fun to rediscover old music and claim it as your own. I remember getting into the Beatles as though I was some type of pioneer. They are simply a great band.... Rumours is still a magic album. I would have liked to see them, I never have, but I was really disappointed Christine McVie didn't come with them. Glad you had a good time Michelle... and happy to hear that Fleetwood Mac still have it. I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself.
