Hi Michelle,
I've bought a sample pot of Hog Bristle Half at Bunnings and on painting it up, it appears much lighter than the colour on the sample card - in fact, almost as light as the Hog Bristle Quarter.
Does this sound right?
I painted on a square of cardboard, and have painted about 4 layers and let it dry completely, and it still seems too light to me...
I know the point of getting a sample pot, is to get the actual colour, but it seems so much lighter than the sample card...
I am now thinking that I'll have to go and get a sample pot of the full strength, as the "half" is so light...
I might also try a sample of the Grand Piano, as the HB seems really creamy while I'd like something with a tad more brown to it.
Any thoughts/ suggestions.
Thanks, Roz
