Ensuite plans and elevation: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ We are going dark floor tiles, and luscious elm cabinetry with osprey caesar stone bench top. The shower wall tiling will be white (has a very slight wavy greyish line through it, but it's not really noticeable). Ensuite colours: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ DH wants some sort of feature tile running vertically in the opening into the shower that you see between the two vanities. My concern is that it's going to divide the shower space into 2.. and the feature tiles would be the main focus of the bathroom, rather than our expensive vanities! So what do you think would be best? I don't want just a blank white wall in the opening though either. Would a horizontal line of tiles all the way around the top work better? Or will the vertical line look okay. And also.. should the skirting tile match the dark floor tile, or would it look better white. Thanks! Kristi Living the dream. 4 horsey acres in the country. What's the next project??? Re: Urgent help needed please! Feature tile in ensuite! 3Nov 19, 2009 8:30 am SuH that sounds like a great idea.. but is too late as we've already signed the contract and can't make any changes. The niches are in the other walls if you see on the floor plan. Living the dream. 4 horsey acres in the country. What's the next project??? Re: Urgent help needed please! Re: Urgent help needed please! Feature tile in ensuite! 9Nov 19, 2009 10:21 am Hi, Sorry im not really any help with colours, having enough trouble with mine! Just wanted to say that i love your colours so far and the design is lovely as well. I think that your husbands idea sounds quite nice actually, maybe somehow tie it in with the floor colours. Maybe have one row of your floor tiles running up the wall to keep the flow if you know what i mean. Good luck, let us know how you go and what you end up with. V Re: Urgent help needed please! Feature tile in ensuite! 10Nov 19, 2009 1:52 pm I'm back from our selection appt, and very happy . Awesome saleslady at Beaumont. So, she suggested we tile the entire back shower wall in the grey 100x300 tile rather than just have the strip. Because you'll only see 700mm of it, it will still look like a feature, but when you're in the shower it will be a continuous wall. (that probably doesn't make any sense.. but it's going to look fantastic). And the other walls will be the grey linea tile. Very happy now. And back to my external colour choice dilemmas Kristi Living the dream. 4 horsey acres in the country. What's the next project??? Re: Urgent help needed please! Tried to play with the facade models but the exact colour is not matching up. 2 3424 Thanks for the suggestion. The space between shower and sinks was too tight. I agree about the toilet location. So I have tried two other options: The lower one is… 3 6286 the step up is 30mm and wanting it to be flat . how much does the concrete have to be lowered .we plan on removing bath and lenghten shower and adding seat. the old bath… 0 12031 |
