We still have the lower decking to do, which we are just about to start building (DIY) and a few minor things the builder has to address. Just wanted to share some photos with homeoners which can be viewed at: http://quarterdeck26.blogspot.com/ braveheart Re: We finally moved in, photos 2Nov 14, 2009 11:14 am Very nice Braveheart! Had a long day at Bunnings trying to workout the material for the decking. Will try and find time to take photos of other areas of the house soon, there is so much cleaning and rearranging to do and so little time as we have not had any time off work since we moved in. braveheart Re: We finally moved in, photos 8Nov 14, 2009 6:15 pm Hi Braveheart I am shocked that you have just moved in now I thought you moved in when we did. Re: We finally moved in, photos 10Nov 14, 2009 7:51 pm Thanks Mrs B and Donuts, we moved in over three months ago. We had to do a lot of things ourselves, we still have a few things for the builder to sort out to add on the money they owe us. Having said that, we are so happy to be in the house as we can control things ourselves. I am glad you like the sheers, they were an after-thought, I initially had double blinds in the whole house and they looked abit cold so I decided to add sheers. braveheart Re: We finally moved in, photos 11Nov 14, 2009 8:24 pm You have a very beautiful home Blog: http://bluemistkids.blogspot.com "Never be afraid to try something new. Re: We finally moved in, photos 12Nov 15, 2009 10:58 am Hi Braveheart - Beautiful house - love the work on the entrance deck and you massive island bench. May I ask what colour your splashback is? - it is the sort of colour I had in my head - is it on clear glass? Congratulations Re: We finally moved in, photos 13Nov 15, 2009 11:10 am Congratulations. Wonderful water views too. What colour have you used for the window frames etc? BTW your kitchen looks awesome. Re: We finally moved in, photos 14Nov 15, 2009 2:24 pm Thanks bluesteel, dollar & Hels. Bluesteel, the splashback colour is a dulux prairie dust on starfire glass - it changes a lot with light (initially I was not sure whether I like it or not but its grown on me now) - it is sort of a darker version of alecon lace. braveheart Re: We finally moved in, photos 15Nov 15, 2009 5:15 pm Dollar, window/door frames are natural anodised. braveheart Re: We finally moved in, photos 17Nov 29, 2009 1:12 am Wow!
