Any suggestions please? They want us to choose asap Re: Help please! Need to pick new benchtop colour 2Nov 12, 2009 11:34 am Hi Elli I love the New Baron Alder colour - and I too wanted ceasarstone but was out of my budget as well, after much looking, decided to go with the Laminex Diamond Gloss Benchtop in Pure Mineralstone, it's white with grey stones, which would match your tiles and tie in with any stainless steel appliances. I had to pay an extra $260 to have Diamondgloss and my benchtop had a waterfall, so thought it was a good compromise. Check out Laminex's website. Need to pick new benchtop colour 3Nov 12, 2009 12:48 pm I'd see what Platinum Micro looks like against those colours. I think it would go well with your floor tiles. It is available in squareform edges which is more like a stone edge than the traditional shaped laminex. Re: Help please! It won’t crack like the stones can. And it’s really easy to be repaired if anything happens to it. Cleans well with a bit of Gumtion and looks fantastic! I put it in my girlfriend’s kitchen; she’s given it a beating over the years and it still looks as good as the day it went in. Unfortunately unless the Corrian is a fair bit cheaper than caesarstone I still can't afford it What do you think of the New Ash Dust laminex colour with New Barron Alder? Tried to take a photo of it Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I also looked at Sand Pebble but not sure on that one Re: Help please! Need to pick new benchtop colour 8Nov 13, 2009 5:43 am I have just recently become a big fan of the Ash Dust for some reason. I like it, you need the contrast of a light colour with all the dark ones you have. Thanks Michelle, I might talk to our cabinet maker before making our final decision. His recommendations were for C/stone originally, but will check out this product just in case.
