Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Oct 31, 2009 2:21 am Hi Michelle and others, I am having huge amounts of trouble finding something to fit into my feature cutout/wall in my entrance. (see pic below) I really want to find something that is really unique and stands out, not something simple like a canvas print. Any ideas??? The two small walls on the side of cutout will be painted in silver in a brush stroke effect, if this makes any difference?! http://i345.photobucket.com/albums/p371/brojas7906/e70b2a95.jpg I have been looking on this website, which I like the idea of as it would be unique but nothing seems to grab me. Re: Help decorate my feature wall... 2Oct 31, 2009 4:07 am Its 5 am in the morning and the thinking cap is not really on. But…if you are painting the side walls in a silver, why not consider a metallic wall paper in a red maybe something oriental if you can find it? I think I’d like to see the hole cut-out filled, not just something hung in there. That space would probably work for about a 24" monitor vesa mounted to the wall with the images supplied from an eeebox or similar. Not a cheap option in outlay or 24/7 running costs but it does give you the option of viewing a range of artwork you like and or personalised photo displays for guests to see when arriving for birthdays/events etc. methinks its obvious at this point why i'm an engineer rather than an interior designer, but overall maybe look at a non static item.
