We are building our first home on the Sunshine Coast Qld. We are currently renting - and the tiles are quite light and I'm finding them very hard to keep looking clean - for me it seems to show up everything! So to try and avoid this, I was going to choose charcoal/dark tiles to put through our kitchen and living area... but I've read that the darker floors show up more of the everyday marks etc? Is this true.. I'm in a dilemma!! Obviously I'm trying to avoid having to do the floors every 2nd day!! If you put a matt finish down, it’s better. Is this for your main floors not the shower? Okay so the living and kitchen dining area are open plan. with lots of east facing windows - hopefully beautiful natural light coming in. So this is the main tile in the living area.
