Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Oct 10, 2009 11:40 pm Hello Michelle I noticed in an earlier topic on the Karndean range that you mentioned your friend who lived near the beach had a lighter shade plank laid that looked particularly nice - would you mind selecting from the range the colour that you thought it was as I am unable to determine it. Many thanks and keep up your exceptionally good work. Anke Re: ? 4 Michelle re Karndean floor & her friend 2Oct 12, 2009 10:07 am I had lunch with that friend yesterday….it turns out I got it wrong. Her floor is floating floor, which I would never have. Really sorry, my mistake!!! I hope you had a nice lunch. Now back to colour choice for Karndean - it's a difficult one now that you cannot assist me with the lime-washed look. I think I will have to go take another look - will let you know how I get on. Have decided to go with the Karndean as a result of your approval throughout the site. Thanx again. Is your client having her floor sealed? I ask that because after living with the product for a month I am wondering if I should spend the money doing so. I was wondering what advice you had recieved about sealing. Regards, Andrea Re: ? 4 Michelle re Karndean floor & her friend 6Oct 13, 2009 8:45 am My client’s father is an ex layer, so I guess he will give her the heads up on that. It won’t matter what I say, he will do as he pleases anyway. You need to think about the wear your planks will get. For me, I probably wouldn’t do it, as its only me and the cat! BUT…if I had kids, hubby and pets running all over the floor, YES I would get it sealed.
