Paint colour for family room... ideas needed :)

Hi guys,

I am in the middle of chosing paint colour for my family room wall. And as you can imagine, it's not the easiest decision... or maybe I'm just not the best person to be making such decisions

so I am seeking your advice, what would you choose?
I'm thinking of two colours, one for the wall around the niches and the other for the back wall behind the sofa.
or would you use the same colour on both???
I'm also thinking of using one of the colours as a feature wall in my bedroom.

We will also be installing floorboards, if that helps with your decision :wink:

Before I scrolled up I was going to suggest green and then voila there is green.....I think thats a great colour with your furniture.
Maybe something a little along the sage green would be nice aswell.
Great choice either way....how about wallpaper for your niche wall. Are you into anything like that as another option?

I think you should try my Nicks Nooks for both walls.

Sorry going to make a change here…Nicks Nook for inside the Niches and full on the back wall.

Michelle, that is polished concrete, which eveybody loves... but I WILL get my floorboards one day!
I quite like that idea of the same colour in the niche and on the baCk wall.

Definitely along the green hue.

So what/who is NICKS NOOKS???????

Ah, Dulux Nicks Nook!
I quite like that and especially the idea of only doing the niches.

i think i might head down to dulux and get a colour sample pot.
Also might paint the family room first then look at the other walls in the house
