Just realised my picture has a window missing on the right hand wall, so I've uploaded the picture again. Love the idea of the chaise where the piano is, only problem is it will be right in the middle of the doorway. I did think about putting one in the corner where the TV is now, but then that would mean the TV would end up in front of a big window which I don't think will look good or be functional. Never thought of single chairs, so that is something for me to think about. I also thought about putting the TV on the wall, but then I need to work out where to put all the other stuff that is currently in the cabinet. Most of it I would want to keep as it is souvenirs of our travels, photos, books etc. Guess I could put a bookcase type thing where the piano is now? thanks for the input! Liz Is the window ceiling to floor? Whoops yes it is..... I would pull the 3 lounges in and join them as an “L” shape leaving room for the piano to sit at the window in the BAY area at the back wall. Coffee table in front of the three lounges. Now you have cosy and conversation. Do you mean put the piano where the litte round table is now? How would you put the lounges? One straight behind the piano and the other 2 together on (or off) the wall where the piano and straight lounge is now? What sort of entertainment unit would you get? Would you leave it so it fills in the corner space or move it to one wall? thanks heaps Liz Re: Help with new furniture layout 8Sep 28, 2009 9:41 pm Move the little square coffee table that is to the left…somewhere. Pull the 2 loungers against the back windows in to meet with the one on the side wall, where the square coffee table was. You now have an “L” shape. They are facing the doorway now. Put the piano where the round table is. Corner TV unit is best for your layout. I agree about the toilet location. So I have tried two other options: The lower one is… 3 6290 Possibly both depending on the sizing.
