Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Sep 10, 2009 2:07 pm We chose a Brown emperador floor tile for our Ensuite (2m x 3m) and a white gloss wall tile. All this looks great. But when it came to the vanity top our cabinet maker is concerned that Emeprador may crack in the process of cutting it down to size (2.4m x .45m). So he is suggesting a Caesarstone or Quantum Quartz (cacao) - this is brown but it has a granular look. Would this clash? Am I better off with a New Diamond White? Almond Rocha, Buttermilk? Rather than try to match the Brown Emperador with the Cacao and then fail by TRYING to make it match? Hope you know what I mean. I am just concerned that with the white wall tile - there would be too much white (if I go for the lighter options of CStone) in the room. I really thought they could get a Brown Emeprador for the Vanity top to work. Thanks. Re: Ensuite: Brown Emperador floor tile and CaesarStone Vanity? 2Sep 10, 2009 2:30 pm I think the cabinet maker is justified in his concerns. It could very well crack. Caesarstone have some lovely colours. Have you thought of going for an in between colour such as Caesarstone Latte or Cashmere? I dont know how deep the brown is in your tile or how much pattern is in it, however I have a choc tile with flecks of white through it which looks like travertine and it looks great with both of these stone colours. I chose a plain stone as the tile has a pattern. My vanity cupboards are white also. I tried to upload pics of the stone but board quota has been reached. Building in Bella Vista Waters Sydney. I should go and have a look at a Latte sample... and the Cashmere. Possibly both depending on the sizing.
