Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Sep 05, 2009 10:06 am I'm looking for a bed like this. I think I've been to nearly every bed store in Melbourne and just can't seem to find what I like. (All the beds I like seem to be in Sydney!). This is the sort of thing I'm after. http://www.decoratorscatalogue.com.au/P ... ving-4025/ or this: http://www.frenchaccent.com.au/Images/B ... 8545-s.jpg Please help - this is style emergency! Re: French Style Bed - where in Melbourne 2Sep 05, 2009 5:27 pm That looks alot like a bed that Harvey Norman sells. It's called the Louis. it is catalogued in timber but pretty sure if they ask the company they will also do the timber bits in white. If they tell you it doesn't come in white, ask them to call the supplier & ask, cause I'm certain they do.The material however only comes in a cotton linen type fabric. http://www.harveynorman.com.au/products ... n-bed.html "A dream you dream alone is only a dream. They might be able to help you too. Her website is still not up and running, but the shop details are there. http://www.victoriannarose.com.au/ Freedom did have something similar last year, but I'm not sure they do anymore. My sister in law has the one from Freedom. I hope that helps!! happy shopping, these are all my favourites!! EDIT: You could always try 'Maison Living' in Glen Iris as well, she might be able to help or suggest something! http://www.maisonliving.com.au/index.php?p=home Nice list Southies!! BTW, I'm pretty sure all of 'French Dressing's' furniture is supplied by Town and Country Style. Their 'seconds' shop is the one in Bentleigh. LOVE IT! I got my gorgeous striped hall table from them for $400 instead of $1600. There were only 4 left and they were a discontinued line. You can be very lucky sometimes! There is also a shop on Middleborough Rd just south of Cantebury Rd called 'Davenport Trading'. They are closing down and have a sale at the moment. They did have lots of french style bed heads, but not sure what they have left. Henley - Wilshire Mk 3 ... I love my house!!
