I have seen it used with beiges before and it is lovely. Grand Piano half and quarter with go with it nicely. Full strength is nice too - dont be afraid to use it - it isnt too dark. I dont have a taubmans colour chart so I dont know what colour your willow gum is Building in Bella Vista Waters Sydney. I have the card here but when I scanned it, it looked more like brown. Since we are having grey floor tiles and dark timber furniture, now i am in a dilemma of going all white throughout or go beige, such as ceilings/trims - antique white walls - grand piano full strength. Re: Wall Colors 4Aug 25, 2009 2:33 pm While the white would be a nice fresh look when combined with the green, I think it will be a little too cold. I would go with your beiges. You could always do your study or lounge or some bedrooms in the grand piano and do the living areas in the half if you are worried that the full is too intense. I have all dulux colours - hog bristle main walls with all trim and ceilings 1/4 hog bristle. my study is self-destruct ( darker beige), bedrooms are russian toffee ( slightly darker than HB) and I have feature walls in sea elephant (milk choc brown). Grand Piano is a nice colour, and yeas a warm white, if you can call it a white! All this should look good, going off what you said about the Willow Gum. Another question, Michelle: Should I keep the woodwork color lighter than or same in strength as the walls? Walls are in low sheen and woodwork trims in full gloss. Will the ceiling remain white or quarter grand piano? The window frames are in woodland grey. Geez, I think I am messing this up by second guessing myself... Trims ¼ Grand Piano thanks for this, michelle... well, in the beginning, i am trying to achieve an organic look, because i like green. hence the choice of willow gum. considering most of the stuff we have are asian inspired, i.e. dark timber, i am not sure if i should go with warm white on walls or beige like the grand piano. adding to the confusion, the floor being mid-grey, i am really having a hard time working out the nature/asian theme. to top it all, i even haven't started thinking about the kitchen colors. 2 10938 Thank you again Simeon..
