Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Aug 18, 2009 9:22 pm Being a newbie pls excuse me if I have posted this in the wrong forum... I am hoping you experts may be able to point me in the direction of online stores, or "real" shops that I can purchase decorating accents...things like vases, pots, soft furnishings and other nic nacs. I have looked in the mainstream stores such as FRE*DM and that Swedish place and are really wanting to change the appearance of my home without knocking down walls or repainting. Looking forward to you assistance! Re: Decorating advice pls 2Aug 19, 2009 5:32 pm What style are you leaning towards? I'm in Melbourne, but any online stores would not matter where. Hard to describe the style I'm hoping to achieve, other than to say not French Provincial, Beachhouse, shabby chic or "green". Just ready to ditch the 90's decor and modernize things. Pls ask any more questions if I need to be more clear. Thanks ever so much! It's basically a warehouse sized Bed Bath and Table. There's vases, frames, candle holders, art pieces, ceramic ornaments etc on your left when you first walk in. They often have sales too. I could spend literally hours at this place. Versaloc is a mortarless besser block system that still needs a properly engineered footing. If you just do a 400x200 footing it will fail in time.
