Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Jul 30, 2009 7:55 pm Hi All I have just been searching the forum to see if anyone has used yellow as a feature wall in the lounge room and didn't find anything. Completion might be in about 4 weeks time, so it's time to work out colours. I want a different colour in the lounge room and uplifting, but don't want purple or blue, so I was thinking yellow might go with my dark brown tv unit and lighter brown lounge suite and polished concrete floors. Does anyone know a good yellow for a feature wall? Maybe a little darker yellow. Has anyone used yellow? What do you think and any names you recommend? I am open to suggestions. I was looking at Solver paints, but none of the colours really grab me. Also has anyone used a red for a feature wall in the bedroom and what brand and name? Thanks for your help Re: Feature Wall Help - Red and Yellow Paint Colour 2Jul 30, 2009 8:01 pm What saturation of yellow fitnhealthy, it comes in many shades. So what do you think of Hocky Pokey? I’m happy you are leaning towards darker colours in the yellows, this is better. That has helped a lot Hi guys, I want to do some floor levelling before laying the planks and am considering doing it with self-levelling or yellow tongue PB board. I am wondering which one… 0 6509 Thankyou so much 😀 I've decided on White on white for doors and trims, White on white 50% on ceiling and Mt buller for walls. Fingers crossed it will look OK 😀 2 7073 |
