Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Jul 19, 2009 7:40 pm OK in another thread I was bemoaning the fact that I'm probably stuck with my timber chairs for eternity . Positively hate them, but right now I don't think they'll be going anywhere. BUT My question is : if I COULD somehow change them, what style would I replace them with, bearing in mind the colour & style of our table, which aint goin' anywhere ? White backs and seat in a gloss white. OR get some really nice chair covers. The second one is $150. The Oz Design one is really nice, though I agree, the price is a bit high.Judie Quite like the 2nd one So something modern with metallic components wouldn't go ? Should I stay with timber then? I can get these chairs through my workplace ( had forgotten about this mob) & might TRY to convince DH of the benefits Have to think about those that would appeal to a male Built the Eden Brae Cambridge 34 Family with Boston Corner Facade Re: Replacement Dining Chairs 9Jul 20, 2009 11:35 am Southies….there’s a few there; I’ll jump in tonight and post them for you. I reckon without those the table will go with more chairs maybe?? Don't forget to check out ebay.... you may get 6 chairs for an absolute steal. I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. I've taken a look at that one on page 4 & I think I like the 2nd one you posted, the best. Will price it at work tomorrow, to see if it's a goer then TRY my hardest to convince DH ( ) that we need to let our old chairs go. I can tell you honestly I'm not holding my breath. Built the Eden Brae Cambridge 34 Family with Boston Corner Facade Re: Replacement Dining Chairs 15Jul 20, 2009 5:18 pm Thanks for the suggestion Jo, but that would be just too hard. You don't really see them when the chairs are in place or when people are sitting at the table. All I would love to do is get rid of the ****** chairs, which I hated when we bought them. And yes, I'm watching ebay Built the Eden Brae Cambridge 34 Family with Boston Corner Facade Re: Replacement Dining Chairs 16Jul 20, 2009 5:19 pm The table is fine….you just need to think out side of the norm, its quite OK these days to mix and match, even the best of decorators will do that. Try not to think of everything having to match, some very interesting furniture can be put together if you step outside the realm.
