Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Jun 08, 2009 11:40 pm I am looking for some help in choosing what entertainment unit & coffee table to go with our bamboo floorboards. We are having the natural colour bamboo (photo below). I had been thinking of having the light colour wood like in the picture but I'm abit worried about it all blending in with the floor too much. The coffee table will be on a rug so it is not as much of an issue but the entertainment unit will be sitting directly on the floorboards. The walls will be white and our couches are actually almost the same colour as those in the picture. We will have bright cushions to add some colour (green or red or something like that). I guess other than the light wood the only options I have seen around the shops are be white gloss, black gloss, a dark chocolate wood colour but I'm not sure that they will work. What do you think? Should I use the light wood or choose something that contrasts with the floor more? All opinions welcome.
